Jammu & Kashmir Society of Health Sciences Education registered with Govt. of J&K was founded in 2002 as a Non­Government Organization (NGO) with the mission of providing quality education to the youth of the state at an affordable cost, so as to make them useful members of the society. Eversince then, the institute has been providing education in the area of Health Sciences to students drawn from various parts of the country.

The founding members of the society are highly accomplished educationists and experts drawn from different disciplines. In consonance with the objective of providing avenues to so far deprived and underprivileged youth for their self sustenance and useful service to the society, job oriented vocational courses in health sciences with excellent employment opportunities in government and corporate sector besides a good self employment Potential were started at the Madr-E- Meharban Institute of Health Sciences in 2002.

Job oriented vocational courses in the area of Health Sciences are conducted as a regular part of the curriculum and has gone a long way in providing employment to the youth of the state.

The examinations are conducted twice a year by the J&K State Medical Faculty And The Diploma Is recognised By The Government.
